Lakme Lip love lip care “BLACK CURRANT”
Hey beauties! Welcome back to my blog. How are you all doing?
Now summers are here yaayyyy! But seriously I don’t like summers that much, the only thing I like about summers is ice-creams and summer vacations.
Anyways coming to the blog post, today am reviewing one of the new variants of Lakme lip love lip care “black currant” ( they have new three variants for summer love – Raspberry, tangerine & black currant)
The product claims-
Luxurious creamy core that moisturizes your lips. Swirl of color for a hint of tint.
SPF 15 helps to protect from sun damage.
PRICE-
200 INR for 3.8g
My views-
Starting from the packaging, I think its good. Its violet plastic tube with tansparent lid. But the ingriedients are neither mentioned on the tube nor on the outer cover on which price, mgf dates are mentioned. It’s a drawback for this product. Anyways moving to the texture of the lip balm, it glides easily and moisturizes lips very nicely even if your lips are super dry and chapped. Now comes the point which makes me resist this lip balm -tint, firstly it looks like a transparent lip balm with few swipes but when you put multiple swipes, it gives a bluish-blackish tint ( I know its black currant but who likes dark lips, not me. Everyone likes to have pinkish or reddish or something that looks pretty and natural).
When I bought it I thought the fragrance would be sweet and candy type but its too much, some of you may like it but its too sweet smelling (it smells like a toffee on my lips) I didn’t like it at all. The smell and the tint is what dissapointed me. The only plus point of this lip balm is its moisturisation and its SPF 15 content. So this was my experience with lakme lip love lip care BLACK CURRANT.
Rating- 6/10
PROS-
• Moisturizes lips very well
• Contain SPF 15
• Packaging is good
CONS-
• Too sweet smell
• Makes lips look dark
• Ingredients are not mentioned

I wont buy this variants again and wont recommend it. But would like to try other two variants of summerlove ( Raspberry & tangerine).
Till next post be Pretty be You :)
